be knowledgable in the feild of construction
be a good communicator
be open to ideas from many sources
be honest and scincere when dealing with the various parties involved in the process
work in the best interest of the owners
be reliable and keep appointments
be able to calmly resolve disputes between contractors, owners, and government regulations
